Interpretive and Visitors Center Hours:

MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
SUNDAY 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

*We are closed on: January 1st, the 4th Thursday of November, and December 24-25th.

Admission provides visitors access to our Interpretive Center with interpreters to provide discussion and guidance, in addition to historic artifacts, wagons, research room, signage, movie theater, and all of our interpretive activities (candle dipping, doll making, journaling, etc.) There are many additional free exhibits and activities throughout the site including the Miniature Overland Trail, Maps, Pioneer Garden, Interpretive Displays and of course, Abernathy Green. Home of the Oregon City Parks and Recreation’s Concerts in the Park, The Oregon City Arts Festival, and a multitude of other community sponsored annual events. The Green is an Oregon City Park and we encourage you to enjoy it.

To Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Opening of The Interpretive Center, we have instituted Four (4) Free Admission Days throughout the year in addition to an Anniversary Week Discount. From Sunday to Saturday, the calendar week of June 17th, admission will be discounted based on our age. (In 2025, 30% off all admission)
